How to deactivate Facebook

Facebook is one of the most popular social media. If you deactivate your ID, you will miss many things. But yet you need to deactivate your Facebook ID, follow the instructions step by step.

How to deactivate Facebook on a mobile screen

Step 1: Open the Facebook app on your android phone

At first, you have to open the Facebook app on your mobile.

Step 2: Touch the three-line icon 

Then you have to touch the three-line icon above the screen on the right side.

Step 3: Go to "Setting" under setting and privacy

After touching the setting and privacy option, you will get the "Setting" option. Touch it.

Step 4: Go to "Personal and account information" under Account

Next, you have to go to the "personal and account information option that is under the "Account" option.

Step 5: Go to account ownership and control

After going to the "Personal and account information", you will get  the "Account ownership and control" option. Touch it.

Step 6: Go to "Deactivation and deletion"

Then you have to go "Deactivation and deletion" option.

Step 7: Select Deactivate account and Continue to account deactivation

After going to the "Deactivation and deletion" option,  you will get two options like the following screenshots, and select "Deactivate account" and continue.

Step 8: Enter Password

Just type your Facebook password and continue.

Step 9: Select anyone and continue

If there is any reason for your deactivating account just select one, otherwise select the first one "This is temporary, I'll be back" and continue..

Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account.

Step 2: Click on your profile picture left corner above the screen.

Step 3: Click setting and privacy

Step 4: Go to setting

Step 5: Under setting click "Your Facebook Information"

Step 6: Go to "Deactivation and deletion"

Step 7: Select "Deactivate account" and continue to account deactivation

Step 8: Select the reason for leaving and click deactivate
