What To Do When Your Phone Hangs Too Much
Mobile phone is our friend in daily life. We can not think of a single day without it. But we become worried or feel disturbed when our phone is hanged.
In this article, I am going to talk about what to do when your phone hangs too much.
1. You have too many apps installed
Installing too many apps means that your device's memory space is taken up by unnecessary files. When this happens, your device becomes less responsive and starts to slow down. To solve this problem, you'll want to uninstall unused apps and move the ones you still need to the SD card.
2. Turn off the power supply
Turn off the power supply at the breaker box before trying anything else. If you have a surge protector, make sure it's turned off. If not, unplug the device from the wall outlet.
3. Remove the battery
If the device is powered by a rechargeable battery, (if possible) remove the battery first. You don't want to damage the battery if you're going to try to fix it yourself.
4. Check the charging port
Check the charging port to ensure that it isn't damaged. If it is, you'll need to replace it.
5. Reset the device
Resetting the device will clear out any data that may have been stored on the device. To reset the device, press and hold both volume buttons together until the screen turns black. Then, press and release the volume buttons again.
6. Try restarting the device
Try restarting the device by pressing and holding the home button until the screen goes blank. Press and release the power button to turn the device back on.
7. Reinstall the battery
Replace the battery if the device still won't turn on after following steps 1-5.
8. You have bad Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi signals can be weak and unstable, causing your devices to disconnect frequently. One way to fix this would be to buy a stronger router, but if that doesn't work, you can try moving closer to a strong signal source.
9. Your phone needs charging
This could simply mean that your phone needs recharged, which can happen if you leave it plugged in overnight. However, if you notice that your phone has drained quickly without being connected to anything, then it's time to invest in a wireless charger, which will allow you to keep your phone charged wherever you go.
10. Your phone is old
Phones get slower over time, and this is especially noticeable after several years. If you find that your phone is getting noticeably slower than it was when it first came out, it may be time to replace it with a newer model.
11. You have a faulty screen protector
Screen protectors are designed to prevent damage to your phone's display, but they do not help to improve the quality of your display. If you notice that your screen protector is peeling off or cracking easily, you should consider replacing it.
12. You have a dirty home screen
Your home screen is where many apps live, and they need to stay clean to function correctly. Allowing dust and debris to build up on your home screen can cause problems with certain apps, making them slow to open and even crash. You can remove some of the dirt by swiping down from the top of your home screen and tapping on the 'All Apps' button, then selecting 'App Info'. Once you're there, tap on each app individually to clear away any debris.
13. Your battery is dying
If you're constantly running out of battery power, it could mean that your device's battery isn't holding its charge long enough before it dies. If you have a smartphone, chances are that it drains fast when you don't use it for a while, especially if you've recently been using it a lot. To avoid this, make sure to properly charge your phone at least once per week, preferably overnight.
I think if you follow these simple steps you can fix the problem of hanging your phone.
